Count of all instances of software registered with Add or Remove Programs report in SCCM cannot run

Having problems running this report in SCCM? Let me guess, HTTP 500 Error! By default SCCM is set to display 4000 records in that report, so if you exceed that the HTTP error occurs. To change the limit, go to C:WindowsSystem32InetsrvMetaBase.xml and look for “AspBufferingLimit”. Change that value to whatever value you want. Just remember 1MB for 1000 records (default approx. 4000 records). Just remember to stop the IIS before making this change 🙂
